The trailer showcases Ram Charan playing a father-son duo. He plays IAS Ram Nandan, a no-nonsense officer who is not afraid to lock horns with corrupt politicians and businessmen to expose their black monies and corrupt affairs. We are also shown parallelly how Nandan’s father, Apanna, also fought for the water resources in his village. While Apanna is shown to be married to Anjali’s character, Kiara Advani plays the love interest of Ram Nandan. However, Nandan soon comes face to face with a corrupt politician, Mopidevi (SJ Suryah), who proves to be his biggest nemesis.

Mohanlal Talks Drishyam 3, Crossover With Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar – Is It Happening?

One of the main highlights of the Game Changer trailer is Ram Charan’s fiery and magnetic screen presence. The superstar is powerful in both the roles, and some of his scenes are bound to evoke loads of cheer and whistles. He is intense during the action sequences but has a spunk and charming aura during the romantic and comedic sequences. The actor nails the emotional scenes too. Watch out for the “Raa Ki Raa, Sir Ki Sir” scene, which involves a showdown between Charan and Suryah’s characters.

However, some of the dialogues and action sequences in the Game Changer trailer are extremely over-the-top and do not invite the required emotions. The visuals, especially the soundtracks in some of the stills, appear to be too shoddy. We do not see Ram Charan’s chemistry with any of the supporting characters being fleshed out effectively. Kiara Advani’s character seems to be reduced to the song and dance sequences with Anjali’s still looking a little promising. SJ Suryah’s antagonist act tends to become too loud in some scenes. We can just hope that these dismal aspects do not appear to be too jarring in the movie.

The movie has been helmed by Shankar. Apart from Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali, and SJ Suryah, Gamer Changer also stars Samuthirakani, Srikanth, Sunil, and Nassar in pivotal roles. The movie will be released on January 10, 2025.

Khushbu Sundar shared that she regrets acting in Annaatthe, which starred Rajinikanth. In an interview, she was asked about any films she wished she had not been part of. She explained that while her Hindi filmography is limited, she has many regrets about some Tamil films.

Khushbu mentioned that Annaatthe is a recent example. She said, “The role didn’t turn out like it was sold to me.” She further explained that there was no real pairing with Rajinikanth for her.

As the film progressed, Rajinikanth’s character suddenly became a heroine. Khushbu said a new character was added. She felt her character became too exaggerated and unrealistic.

Khushbu said her character was originally meant to be happy, comical, and fun-loving. However, when she saw the film during the dubbing session, she felt disappointed by the final result.

Annaatthe was released in 2021. It was directed by Siva, the director of Kanguva. The film is an action drama. It tells the story of Kaalaiyan, who is a sarpanch from Thanjavur, played by Rajinikanth. Kaalaiyan is very protective of his younger sister.

When his sister elopes with her lover and moves to West Bengal, Kaalaiyan goes to find her. He discovers the challenges she faces from a business rival. Kaalaiyan decides to take action and helps her from behind the scenes.

Apart from Mohanlal, Barroz also stars Maya Rao West, Tuhin Menon, Ignacio Mateos, and Gopalan Adat in the lead roles. The movie has been produced by Anthony Perumbavoor. At the same time, the music has been composed by Lydian Nadhaswaram, Fernando Guerreiro, Miguel Guerreiro, and Mark Killian. The film is based on the novel, Barroz: Guardian Of D’Gama’s Treasure by Jijo Punnoose.

Helmed by Haneef Adeni, the Malayalam action thriller has been rated 8 on IMDb and is earning accolades with its Hindi version as well. It has been mounted on a budget of 30 crore and earned a total of 42 crore at the box office, registering a profit of 40%.

On the 13th day, the second Wednesday, January 1, Marco earned a total of 3.4 crore at the box office. This was a jump of 151% at the box office from the previous day, which brought 1.35 crore to the table.

The movie has earned around 10 crores when it comes to the overseas collection. The worldwide collection of the film now comes to 55.13 crores. The film needs around 5 crores more to cross 60 crores. However, with the day-wise collection being reduced drastically, this might be difficult to achieve.

A 21-year-old man, identified as Aaquib Fanan from Aluva, Kerala, was arrested by Kerala Police earlier for distributing pirated copies of the film Marco. Fanan allegedly shared links to Telegram channels through his Instagram account, allowing others to download the illegal version of the movie.

In its first 13 days of release, the Hindi version of Marco has grossed INR 4.14 crore at the Indian domestic box office. The film’s total earnings across all languages have reached INR 38.65 crore after 12 days.

“Due to unavoidable circumstances, our film *Vidaamuyarchi* will not be releasing on Pongal day. We wish all our fans and well-wishers a prosperous year ahead.” The makers have assured that the wait will be worthwhile.

The year 2024 has been very profitable for Sithara Productions. All the films he produced performed great this year.

The release of Tillu Square, which crossed the Rs.100 crore mark, became a blockbuster, and the year started well for them. Later, in the second half, Lucky Bhaskar won many people’s hearts and collected over Rs.100 crores.

During the conversation, Naga Vamsi stated that Bollywood films are bound to be made for specific Mumbai localities, while the South industries are stepping out of their comfort zone and making films like Bahubali and RRR. Speaking to Boney Kapoor in the same interview, Vamsi said that Bollywood has been making films only for people who live in Juhu and Bandra.

In the same interview, Vamsi said that the entire of Mumbai would not have slept when Pushpa 2 collected Rs 80 crores on its first day from the Hindi belt. Many Bollywood filmmakers got offended by Vamsi’s statements, which sounded like criticism. This led to severe criticism from several known Bollywood directors, and soon, it became a sensational topic.

To the same, Hansal Mehta wrote, “Chill dude, whoever you are… I live in Mumbai. I’ve been sleeping really well.”

He added, “Since this person, Mr Naga Vamsi, was being so arrogant, now that I know who he is, His latest hit as a producer, Lucky Bhaskar, has borrowed liberally from the Scam series. I brought this up because I feel happy that stories travel and a film in another language succeeds in replicating what has worked for us. Everybody wins. Nobody is bigger than the other. That narrative is destructive. Arrogance is even worse. To all those haters coming at me on my TL – see you in 2025.”

Siddharth Anand wrote, “Mumbai has always been the city that never sleeps. ;) It’s okay; I guess some people don’t know our real Mumbai!”
