However, none of the stars’ agencies has confirmed the speculation around their alleged relationship. Their agencies have briefly commented on the situation. However, the actors have not discussed or released any statement regarding the update.

Song Mino and Park Ju-hyun starred in the 2022 movie Seoul Vibe and have reportedly been in touch ever since. Multiple gestures shared between the two – Mino sending a coffee truck to Ju-hyun’s drama set and the actress attending the launch of his brand in 2022 – have further fueled these rumors among the netizens.

The two shared pictures of each other from the events, hyping up their fans and discussing their relationship. In addition, certain online accounts have also allegedly witnessed the two hanging out together on dates.

While the news has taken over the internet, there is no confirmation from their agencies or the stars. YG Entertainment, which houses the K-pop boy group WINNER, did share a brief statement about the situation. “It is difficult to confirm matters related to the artist’s personal life,” they shared. On the other hand, Park Ju-Hyun’s agency, 935 Entertainment, also updated her fans with a hasty statement. “We can’t confirm matters that pertain to the actor’s private life. We ask for your understanding,” they stated.

Besides Mino being embroiled in a dating tittle-tattle, the 31-year-old rapper is currently performing his national military service. He will complete his mandatory military duties on December 23. However, recent allegations were made against him, claiming his neglect of his duties as a soldier.

Park Ju-Hyun’s Career: Movies And K-Dramas

Park Ju-hyun debuted in 2019 with the film The Dude In Me in a minor role. However, the 30-year-old actress has contributed to several popular K-dramas and movies. Her roles in dramas like Extracurricular (2020), Love All Play (2022), Mouse (2021), The Forbidden Marriage (2022 -2023), Zombie Detective (2020), and most recently in Perfect Family (2024).

The actress has also credited herself with multiple films such as Project Silence, Drive, You Will Die In 6 Hours, and others. She starred with Mino in the Netflix film Seoul Vibe, a romantic comedy surrounding the 1988 Seoul Olympics, where a team of mechanics and drivers must go against a money laundering gang to save the big event. The film also starred Yoo Ah-in, Go Kyung-Pyo, Lee Kyung-Ho, Kim Sung-Kyun, and Ong Seong-Wu in leading roles.

When BTS’ J-Hope Suggested SUGA To Audition For This Famous K-Drama

Congrats on the release of your second mini-album Neighbourhood! What was your experience like composing and writing the lyrics for this?

Jay Chang: Contrary to my debut album Late Night, I was able to be a lot more hands-on and a lot more involved in the songs and writing for Neighbourhood. So, I would say the inspiration was definitely my childhood. For my debut album, I went a little bit into my childhood, but I really went in full-time this time. I would say the whole album is about being nostalgic and remembering where you came from. Even though as adults we have stresses and things that we didn’t have before, but remembering our roots can help us calm our senses a bit. That’s the message that I wanted to relay through this album, and I think all of the songs did a good job of conveying that relaying that message.

Currently, you’re active in South Korea. What do you miss the most about your home back in the US?

Jay Chang: I would say what I miss the most about. My home in the U. S. is definitely the quietness, the tranquility that, um, came with living in a small town. Obviously, living in a city now is a lot more adventurous. I would say just having the simplicity of small-town life is something that I miss every now and then.

Looking back to your debut mini-album Late Night, what change have you seen in yourself as an artist? What would you say led to the change in your tone and sentiment for Neighbourhood?

Jay Chang: I would say from my debut EP, it was a very new thing for me being my first debut and being very amateur as an artist. It’s only been one year, but I feel like there have been a lot of things that have happened that have helped me grow not only as an artist but also as a person. This Neighborhood album was a chance for me to introspect myself and see how far I’ve come, not only as an artist, but also as a person as well.

The title track LaSalle Ave boasts of inspiration from Silk Sonic’s music. Which artists would you say are your role models or inspirations?

Jay Chang: I would say as a vocalist, some great singers that have influenced me if we’re talking from the Western world, are Bruno Mars, Sam Smith, John Legend. A lot of great vocalists from back home have influenced me. Also, a lot of singers from South Korea as well, such as Kim Jae Hwan, Crush, Taeyang, Park Hyo Shin have had a huge influence on shaping me as a vocalist.

You are a part of K-pop groups BDU and OnePact, and also a soloist. How would you describe your experience in each format? How different or how similar is it?

Jay Chang: The similarities come from being able to express a certain color on the stage, but the differences start with those colors. As a soloist, I get to put the spotlight on my individual charms as an artist. As a group member, I get to show my synergy with people who are also dreaming the same dream as me, getting to show a picture on stage that you wouldn’t normally see from just seeing me alone.

As an artist, what change did you notice in yourself through the years since your debut?

Jay Chang: I would say my musicality as an artist and the spectrum has gotten wider. Before debut and around the time of debut, there were a lot of different rules that I had when I was writing music or when I was just in a creative process. But seeing music through not only through not as a group member and also looking at music as a whole, I would say since last year, I have become more open-minded about my approach to music. Pushing the edge and thinking outside of the box has been a huge part in my writing process now, and I’m growing.

Do you find any genre that is challenging for you? Is there anything new that you would like to experiment with?

Jay Chang: For this album, I would say all four songs have a very, very different sound. I would say probably the hardest genre for me at the moment, but also the most intriguing for me these days is probably the soul genre because it requires an amount of feel and something that can’t really be learned. It has to come out naturally. I really want to kind of experiment a little bit more with soul and make music that the listener can not only experience and listen to, but also feel as well.

When you’re not making music, how do you relax? How do you unwind usually?

Jay Chang: Outside of music, I have two very close friends – video games and basketball. I spend most of my time with them when I am not making music!

How would you describe your music to somebody who’s listening to you for the first time?

Jay Chang: I would describe my music as something that you can feel or think about. I think that’s a good way to put it.

We’ve seen you on the stage, perform live and bring up the energy. When you’re not on the stage, how are you usually around your family and friends?

Jay Chang: Well, when I’m by myself and with my family I’m very low-key, very quiet and I keep to myself a lot. That’s definitely pretty different from, what you see on stage. With a lot of my friends, I’m the same way, but then there are a lot of friends that bring out a lot of energy for me and keep me engaged. I would say that with me, it’s either you’re getting a lot of energy or you’re getting none. So, no, there’s no middle ground. There’s no in-between.

What has been your biggest takeaway from this year? What experience in the past year would you say has been memorable for you?

Jay Chang: If I were to select one thing that was a defining moment for me this year, it would probably be the world tour that we went on as BDU in the summer. It was my first ever world tour. So getting to experience a lot of different countries and cultures was a lot of fun for me and getting to meet fans from many different countries was a really good experience. I would love to do it again and hopefully visit a lot of countries that I haven’t visited already.

What can you tell us about your plans for 2025? What do you have in store?

Jay Chang: Well, for this album, we definitely want to promote a lot, um, overseas. So hopefully there are a lot of fans that look forward to that. But after that, there’s no slowing down, we have got to keep moving, got to keep doing better until we reach our goals. So 2025 is going to be another busy year for me. And I hope everyone is looking forward to that.

South Korean actor Park Min-Jae has sadly passed away at the age of 32. The actor was traveling in China when he suddenly died on Friday, November 29th, 2024. His rep later confirmed the tragic news.

Min-Jae was a famous face in the K-Drama world. He is known for appearing in shows like Little Women, The Korean War, and Bo-ra! Deborah, Tomorrow, Snap And Spark, and Mr Lee.

Park Min-Jae’s Cause of Death

Park Min-Jae died of a sudden cardiac arrest on November 29th, 2024. He was not facing any major health issues before his demise and was on a visit to China when the tragedy occurred. Min-Jae’s agency, Big Title, announced his death with a statement on December 2nd:

“A beautiful actor who loved acting and always did his best, Park Min-Jae has gone to heaven. We will no longer be able to see his acting, but we will always remember him with pride.”

Min-Jae’s funeral will be held on December 4th. A memorial service for the actor has been organized at the funeral hall of Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital. Min-Jae was recently seen in a guest role in the show My Damn Business.

To start, let’s talk about the subgroups in the 13-member team. If you are unfamiliar with the band, you might think SEVENTEEN has many members. But it’s not true! The name might be SEVENTEEN, but 13 members make 3 subunits; together, they are 1. So their group name became SEVENTEEN (13+3+1).

The thirteen members are S. Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. Based on their expertise, they are divided into three groups: hip-hop, vocal, and performance. Each group also has a leader who regulates what happens in the sub-groups. It’s simple! S. Coups is the leader of the hip-pop trio and of SEVENTEEN; Woozi and Hoshi lead the vocal and performance groups, respectively.

You would also be surprised to learn that this group is a self-producing band. All the members write every song and the melodies Woozi creates in his “Universe Factory.”

He has given us amazing songs like Love Money Fame, LaLaLi, Falling Flower, and Aju Nice. The list goes on. Woozi also boldly slammed a BBC article that claimed that he used AI to create these masterpieces. In response,e the group made a fantastic song like Maestro and won two daesangs this year.

SEVENTEEN always celebrates its wins with philanthropic work. In 2022, it launched a global campaign for the UNESCO Korean National Commission to support an easily accessible and sustainable ‘future of education.’ It advertised the importance of education and prompted young people to participate in various educational activities.SEVENTEEN even donated some profits from its Be the Sun world tour.

Popular South Korean actor and model Song Jae-rim passed away on November 12, leaving everyone in shock. He is best known for We Got Married and has appeared in multiple prestigious magazines as a model. Scroll below for the deets.

Song began his career as a runway model and has appeared in magazines like Bazaar Korea, Vogue Girl Korea, Dazed Korea, GQ Korea, and more. He was only 39 years old. In 2009, he began his acting career, and one of his notable works is the period drama Moon Embracing the Sun. He experienced fame after playing an assassin in Two Weeks. He was also loved in We Got Married after he appeared in the show’s fourth season with Kim So-eun. He was last seen in Queen Woo.

According to media reports, Song Jae-rim was found dead in his apartment in Seoul’s Seongdong District. According to Soompi via Times Now News, the police confirmed his death, and a two-page letter was reportedly found at the place. The cause of his death has not yet been confirmed. But it is reportedly seeming like a suicide.

Is BTS making a comeback soon?

Lee Kyung Joon, HYBE’s CFO, announced that the label was in talks with the group for a comeback in 2026. However, their return will not mean maximum dependency on the group for the label’s revenue. The label has plans to increase activities and propagate growth for other artists under the label as well. So, to answer the question, BTS is not making a complete group comeback, at least for the following year.

Where are BTS members now?

Currently, most of its members are completing their mandatory military enlistment. The group’s leader, Jin, was discharged on June 12, 2024. Another BTS member, J-Hope, was discharged from the military just last month.

Members RM, Suga, V, Jimin, and Jungkook are expected to return in June 2025. Despite their ongoing military enlistment periods, these four members sometimes make a short appearance to meet their fans. Members RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook have released new music. Additionally, concert movies and documentaries have also excited fans. Suga has mostly kept himself away from the spotlight, except for the recent DUI case that caught a lot of traction.

A recent controversy involving RIIZE, a K-pop boy group from SM Entertainment, centers on former member Seunghan, who took a hiatus following allegations of dating and substance use as a minor. His return was met with significant backlash from fans, including the sending of funeral wreaths to the company. This backlash deeply affected Seunghan, leading him to withdraw from the group to prevent further harm. However, international fans have shown overwhelming love and support for him.

Despite its modern outlook, Korean society still has outdated and orthodox views on how an individual must behave. While this article is not a commentary on the rights and wrongs in the moral conduct of any society, it is also necessary to look into the right and wrong of any action taken. Even though his blood alcohol level was under the legal limit, he faced fines and reprimands for the incident, highlighting the importance of refraining from any impaired driving. Granted, we understand that reasoning.

Some of the most recent events have come into the limelight. In the past, there have been events where K-pop idols have also had to issue apologies for dating and marrying. Several K-pop idols have had to leave the group and the spotlight after marriage because they were no longer ‘fantasy-worthy.’ If you truly love an artist, you love them for their art and ideas.

While the love between the idols and the fans is beyond words, the fans also need to see the reality that the person they like lives in a world of their own. While an artist can provide comfort and a sense of connection through their work, believing that they are your one true love or future spouse is a misguided fantasy. It’s essential to recognize the difference between admiration for their art and unrealistic expectations about personal relationships.

The note further stated, “Catch a sneak peek into how Jungkook prepared for his first solo album GOLDEN, scenes from the lively, internationally loved performance at various venues, and never-before-released behind-the-scenes footage of Jungkook’s inner-most thoughts —all in his first documentary film.”

Now, according to Box Office Mojo’s data, Jung Kook: I Am Still has collected $2.57 million in domestic markets and $5.6 million internationally. Adding the domestic and international cume of the BTS star’s documentary movie, the film stands at $8.18 million cume at the worldwide box office. The fans have rated it 100% on Rotten Tomatoes’ Popcornmeter. The docu movie was released on September 18.
